Siesta Sisters. What an odd name for a group of friends. I wonder to myself as well, we didn't meet each other during a siesta. So, why would we choose that name? Strange but we all settled with this group name and we like it. :)

This photo was taken January 1, 2011. Yep, obviously, it's New Year !!!! It was our mission that day to roam around the streets of our beloved hometown which is Tagum City. We were laying down the grass and had someone take our picture that way at E-Park (Energy Park). This day was filled of joyful laughter, blissful sighs and hopeful hearts. So, aside from taking a stroll at a local park, we also went to the newly-opened Mall in the city that time. It was Gaisano Grand Mall. It was like picture taking session for the three celebrity wanna-bes. HAHAHAHA . xD

On our way up! See the smiles? Aaaah, I remember those days. Feels like everything's okay. Feels like there's  no trouble. No ugly thoughts bothering me. No unsettled issues running all over my mind. I just miss these guys. If you've read my entry Friendship : Strange, Silly and Stupid, you would know a few things about my Siesta Sisters. And yeah, look how these lovely girls take over the whole place. Striking a pose without minding the people around who could see. And well, yeah, me being the photographer. HAHAHAHAHA. Lurve it. xD

Cakes! We love cakes! But all we could do is ogle at it. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. xD

We don't have the money to buy us one. So, cakes, we'll be right back. HAHAHAHAHA. xD Now, these cakes looks sooooo cute. Never had a cake as fancy as what you see in the picture. I remember my 18th birthday. Never had my dream 18th birthday and because of that I'm gonna make sure my wedding day would be the most unforgettable day in my whole existence. Looking at the picture though, I'm like  "Ai-chan? Are you lost or something?" HAHAHAHAHA. xD

"Mirror, mirror at the mall. Who's the fairest of them all?" HAHAHAHAAHHA. xD Look at us! Notice the colors. Very coordinated. HAHAHAHAHAHA. I even asked my sisters "Hey, are we gonna have a dance number or something?" LOL. xD That camera I'm holding is Sister Nei-chan's. She likes it when I'm the one taking their pictures. She said I could make them look real nice. HAHAHAHAHA. xD I should buy myself a DSLR camera and check out if I would make myself a good photographer. HAHAHAHAHA . So, we went around the mall. Checking out shoes, bags and trying out a few clothes. That's what we call "window shopping". Shopping without buying anything. Anyway, it's super fun so we didn't mind. Oh, yeah. I remember something. Filipinos believe that taking a picture with three people in it would make the person in the middle die. I didn't mind it. If it's true, then who the heck is telling you this ridiculous superstitious belief? HAHAHAHA. xD

Since New Year just came in, the metal Christmas tree at the Freedom Park still stands when Ai-chan took this picture. Notice the green umbrella? Nei-chan loves everything that's green.(with the exception of green jokes. HAHAHAHA. xD) But, I don't think she's still into the green colored stuff now. People change. That time my fave color was blue but now it's PURPLE !!! I miss hanging out with these lovely ladies. Watching people, talking about everything under the sun, laughing our hearts out, goofing around and throwing jokes at each other. Tagum City really has played a big role in our lives. When I visit a few places, memories come rushing back. Thank you for giving me a lot of happy memories, Siesta Sisters! :)

LOL. xD Lurve everything about this day. I never go to downtown nowadays just because I feel lonely. I have no one with me that I could talk to, share my life at work with, laugh about anything under the sun. Sisters, I wanna see you guys soon. But we all have different lives, different responsibilities that we need to fulfill and different dreams we all wanna achieve. I hope fate will find a way to make us all three meet again. So we could talk about life, love and BOYS. HAHAHAHAHA. xD

I could never forget this night. After the pageant night my sister Ai-chan is part of (which explains the dress), we painted the town red.  Took pictures here and there and enjoyed the night till dawn. I was wearing my favorite boots and looking so RAWR! while Sis Nei-chan decided to dress up like a tomboy. Different personalities, as you can see. But we three clicked! I love you, guys! xD

2012

A new chapter. A new beginning. A lot of things has happened that eventually led to a lot of changes with our lives. But these changes never succeeded in separating us from each other. Changes, at first, might seem scary and strange. We sometimes think, our friends might not be the same person we know but deep down we always find it in our hearts that our friends would always remain ... a FRIEND. :)

Sorry about the picture's quality. My phone sucks! Anyway, another year has passed. Now, its 2012. My girl friends throwing the peace sign with the metal Christmas Tree as the background. How I love these girls. Hmmmm. You might get the idea that our friendship is perfect but to tell you the truth, no, it isn't. We also faced hard times that calls upon our strengths to endure any disaster that threatens our relationship with each other. What are these disasters? Ooooh, it's just a combination of misunderstanding and miscommunication(if there's such a word xD )And also brought about by a little bit(or BIG) immaturity factor.

Siesta Aichan and Siesta Neichan at the Freedom Park. So, to tell you more about the "fights" we three had, let's start with my 18th birthday. That was a not-so-good birthday I ever had in my whole life. I asked my mom to prepare spaghetti and other food for my birthday just for my dear friends since they love my moms cooking only to find myself hurt and angry cause I waited the whole day, yes, a whole day! Can you imagine that? AND THEY NEVER SHOWED UP! I felt soooo miserable and even more the minute I knew they were out with some guy to the downtown area. I was like "WHAT THE F---?!". As, a friend, you should at least give a damn if it's your friend's birthday! They didn't even bother to call or send me a text message! >.<

Anyway, so there, I was so hurt and angry of what has happened that I excommunicated these lovely ladies. One time, Aichan called me up apologizing and begging for me to be friends with them again. And I said no. I was sooo freakin' hurt that time I could not think straight or maybe even forgive them. I said a lot of hurtful words  to Aichan and even told her I am not their friend anymore and just forget everything about me. But Aichan was soo persistent and soooo kind to me and that alone melted my anger. So, we became friends again. Such a sweetheart, she is. :) And I'm sorry for making you cry, Aichan. You know how important you are to me. I love you. :)

Siesta Neichan and Siesta Aichan at McDonalds Tagum. We decided to eat out at McDonalds after our stroll at the Freedom Park. Hmmmm. Siesta Neichan. She might appear normal to you but she actually is not. HAHAHAHAHA ! Peace, Neichan! She is funny, silly and sometimes strange. But we love her for it. :) The downside is, she is numb. Yes, NUMB. She just doesn't care at all. If you don't like her. Okay. If there's people fighting in front of her. Baaah! If you sneer at her. Huh? If you shun her. Fine. And that was the hardest thing for me cause I try to make her FEEL that I didn't like a particular behavior/attitude of hers but since she's NUMB. She'd never FEEL it. So, I really have to SAY it to her face for her to know. Awkward, huh? But she's okay with it. She basically wants you to tell her without batting your eyelashes what you don't like about her. That is, if you are her friend. Neichan, I'm sorry I made you cry as well. Remember when you cried in front of us Aichan at my house? I could say, after that. Our bonds have grown so much tighter that before. I love you. Remain a sweet, lovely lady. :)

What I love about my friends? Is the fact that they are one of  my strengths. They point out my wrongs, I point out theirs and together we strive to become a better person. We may not see each other more often like before, our feet maybe apart, but the bond of friendship in our heart will never depart. One has achieved so many things but remained humble(Neichan), one is also in the way of prosperity in Thailand but remained kind and helpful(Aichan) and one is  struggling to make family's life much better(me) but all three will always be friends. Siesta Sisters ... yesterday, today and tomorrow. :)
